Jingliangyou Xuefeng Silmiao is a new indica two-line hybrid rice variety bred by Hunan Hengda Seed High-tech Co.,Ltd.,Hunan Zhonglang Seed Co.,Ltd.,and Anhui Hengxin Seed Technology Co.,Ltd.,by using the restorer line Xuefeng Simiao as the male parent and the sterile line Jing 18S as the female parent.It was approved by the National Crop Variety Examination and Approval Committee(No.2022137)in 2022.The average yield of Jingliangyou Xuefeng Silmiao was 9 404.3 kg·hm-2 in the regional trials from 2020 to 2021,and and the average yield in the production trials in 2021 was 9 592.5 kg·hm-2.In 2021-2023,according to the field investigation and indoor detection of seed,the plant height was 121.2-123.5 cm,the ear length was 26.2-27.4 cm,the effective panicle number was 2.701-2.716 million spikes·hm-2,the total number of grains per spike was 175.2-178.5 grains,the seed set propagation coefficient was 82.1%-82.5%,and the thousand-grain weight was 23.1-24.2 g.The variety was planted as middle-season rice in Changle District from 2021 to 2023,showing the characteristics of high and stable yield,strong tillering ability,moderate plant height and plant type,good rice quality,strong lodging resistance,and strong disease resistance.
