The theory of integrity,closure,heterogeneous isomorphism principle of Gestalt psychology have been applied in literature writing,literary appreciation and literary translation.In literary translation,translators should process the dual activities of language cognition and aesthetic experience,construct image-Gestalt,then recreate image-G by using the target language.Based on the theory of image-G,this article analyses the upper and lower image-G of Ancient Palace and compares the advantages and disadvantages of the translation of 4 English version of Ancient Palace in Perspective of Image-Gestalt recreation.
