Firstly,as the"mouthpiece"of the publicity work of the Communist Party of China(CPC)during the Central Soviet Area period,Red China undertook the publicity of the revolutionary ideas,lines,guidelines and policies of the CPC,and played an important role in the image building process of the CPC.Secondly,during the period of the Central Soviet Area,the CPC was faced with the construc-tion and consolidation of the Soviet Area and the fierce struggle against"encirclement and suppression"campaign.In order to seek the legitimacy of local governance and eliminate the negative image,the CPC took Red China as an important window for image building.Lastly,under the publicity and shaping of Red China,the CPC has successfully created a good image of advanced political party which boasts not only patriotism and resistance to humiliation,but also being clean and honest,and close to the people based on love.Generally speaking,reviewing the process of the image building during the period of the Central Soviet Area,the CPC has accumulated some valuable historical experience,which has important reference significance for its image building in the new era.
