Construction of a Home Economics Education System from the Perspective of the Chinese Path to Modernization
Home economics education,which aims at individual growth,human happiness,and social progress,is of great value for achieving the free and well-rounded development of people and realizing Chinese modernization.From the perspective of the Chinese path to modernization,Chinese characteris-tics is a necessity,with people-centered values and high-quality development as its core theme.However,the current development of home economics education in China faces many practical issues:the impor-tance of home economics education is not yet widely recognized,and the educational system and teacher training system for home economics are yet to be established.To strengthen home economics education in the new era,it is necessary to build a comprehensive education system,namely,an organizational guaran-tee system with Chinese characteristics;a scientifically integrated curriculum system;and a teacher train-ing system.
