The integration of traditional ancient houses in Fuzhou with the ideas of its people is a reflec-tion of its urban and rural civilization. Fuzhou people are expected to tell good story of its ancient houses and continue to build characteristic streets with cultural heritage and modern atmosphere so as to let tradi-tional ancient houses shine with new vitality,and realize their revitalization and utilization value. This pa-per conducts an analysis of the traditional ancient houses in Fuzhou and Yongtai ancient architectural com-pounds in numerous villages from the perspective of collaborative governance,and tries to promote the construction of a collaborative governance system as well as a framework for revitalization and utilization mechanism by combining those cases with their achievements in their protection,revitalization and utiliza-tion,and their cultural value. Suggestions and countermeasures for the utilization of those traditional ancient houses are proposed from the perspective of collaborative governance and efforts are made to pro-mote the protection,revitalization and utilization of ancient houses,injecting new vitality and energy into the rural revitalization.
