The Extent and Effect Factors of of Place Attachment of Agricultural Transfer of Population in Small Towns——A Case Study of Yanqian Town of Fujian Province
I Using Yanqian Town in Fujian province as a case study, this paper construed a 2-dimensional place attachment model for a small town with agricultural transfer population (STATP).It utilized the research methods of survey questionnaires and in-depth interviews, and then independently performed verification factor analysis and statistical analysis using Amos and SPSS software. This research shows that place attachment exists between the agriculture transfer population and the town they live in.It is reflected both in the functional attachment (place attachment) towards the fulfillment provided by the small town in their living needs and environmental requirements, and in the emotional attachment (place identity) accompanying their memory and warm feeling. The main reasons for place attachment of the small town agriculture population are:life experience and time accumulation, extent of agriculture transformation, modes of land conversion, and environmental changes, etc.
