Collophanite Flotation Experiment Based on Factorial Design and Response Surface Methodology
To study the effect factors of collophane flotation significance analysis and find the best conditions, a method combining parts of factorial design and response surface method was investigated by use of minitab software. Firstly the parts of factor design method was based on the related factors affecting collophane flotation for comprehensive inspection, and the results show that the pH and dosage of inhibitor have significant impact for collophane flotation recovery and grade, the effect of temperature on two response were minimal. On the basis of the factorial design experiment, pH and dosage of inhibitor with flotation recovery and concentrate grade were selected building response surface model, the results show that the optimal conditions was: pH=6.6714, inhibitor dosage of 1225.713 g/t, in this condition, the grade of flotation concentrate is 30.5858%, the recovery was 83.6801%. The method combining a factorial design and response surface method can be effectively used in the design of experiment.
