Study on the Sulfate Corrosion Resistance of Mineral Admixtures on Steam-autoclaved Mortar
In order to study the influence of mineral admixtures on the sulfate corrosion resistance of autoclaved-curing mortar, the autoclaved mortar was prepared by quartz powder, fly ash and mineral powder, the compression and corrosion resistance coefficient was obtained under different number of dry-wet cycles. The appearance and microscopic morphology of the concrete after corrosion were analyzed. The results showed that compared with pure cement specimens, adding 20%quartz powder could reduce the sulfate resistance of specimen. After 240 dry-wet cycles, the compression and corrosion resistance coefficient reached 0.53.The single addition of fly ash, mineral powder,or three mineral admixtures in pairs could improve the sul-fate resistance of autoclaved mortar. The mercury intrusion test showed that adding mineral admixtures could effectively improve the pore structure of autoclaved mortar, but adding quartz powder alone could increase the harmful pore(>0.2 μm)content, which reduced the sulfate corrosion resistance of mortar.
