Experimental Study on Beneficiation of a Lithium-Containing Porcelain Ore in Jiangxi
Considering the abundant lithium content found in Jiangxi Province's lithium-bearing porcelain ore,an experimental investigation was conducted to achieve efficient resource exploitation and utilization through a recovery process. The study of process mineralogy reveals that the lithium ore extracted from a ceramics mine in Jiangxi Province contains an average Li2O content of 0.35%,with the presence of lithium-bearing minerals such as lithium-bearing muscovite and lepidolite. The closed flotation experiment of the ore was carried out by using the combined collector, and the concentrate with Li2O content of 1.60%and Li2O recovery of 77.37%was obtained by using the beneficiation process of"one time of roughing-two times of cleaning-two times of scavenging".Furthermore, high gradient magnetic separation can be employed to obtain mica concentrate with a Li2O content of 2.01%.This study offers valuable insights into the recovery and utilization of lithium-bearing porcelain ore in this region.
