Experimental Study on the Preparation of 4N5 High-Purity Quartz Sand from Vein Quartz in Jiangxi Province
This study investigates the preparation of high-purity quartz from vein quartz of Jiangxi Province.The effects of grinding time,magnetic separation and scrubbing segments,slurry pH were explored on the purity of quartz sand to determine the optimal conditions.Finally,the four stages of magnetic separation-two stages of scrubbing-two stages of washing-two stages of flotation-two stages of drug removal-roasting-water quenching-acid leaching process were applied to deeply purify the quality of quartz concentrate.The final product quartz sand reaches 4N5 grade with 99.995%SiO2 content,with a total impurity of 54.84 μg/g,16.76 μg/g Al,5.83 μg/g Na,6.46 μg/g K and 17.50 μg/g Fe.Therefore,this study provides scientific significance for the purification of vein quartz.
