Research on Preparation of Light Porous Ceramsites and Their Phosphate Adsorption Properties
Light porous ceramsite were prepared with fly ash, phosphorus tailings and quartz tailings as the main raw materials for the treatment of simulated phosphorus containing wastewater. The effects of raw material ratio, calcination temperature, addition amount of ceramisite and reaction time on phosphorus removal were investigated during sintering process and adsorption test. The ceramsite products before and after adsorption were an-alyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and phosphorus surface scan analysis. The results show that under the mass ratio of phosphorus tailings to fly ash being 3∶7,sintering temperature being 1 050℃,holding time being 30 min and heating rate being 10℃/min,lightweight fly ash composite ceramsite with bulk density of 730 kg/m3 can be prepared.Under the conditions of initial simulated phosphorus containing wastewater concentration being 10 mg/L,amount of ceramite particles being 5 g/400 mL and 4 h adsorption, the test equilibrium is reached, the phosphate removal rate is 96.39%and the residual phosphorus concentration in the simulated wastewater is less than 0.5 mg/L.
