Study on Preparation Technology of Calcium Carbonate Microspheres from Artificial Granite Waste Residue
To solve the problem of difficult reuse of artificial granite waste residue, with artificial granite waste residue as raw material, sodium polystyrene sulfonate(PSS)as the template agent, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)as surfactant, calcium carbonate microspheres were prepared. The effects of the reaction temperature,PSS concentration,SDS concentration and reaction time on the microsphere morphology of calcium carbonate were investigated. The results showed that the uniform distribution and the average particle size were about 4.5 µm vaterite type calcium carbonate micro-spheres when the reaction temperature was 70℃,the PSS mass concentration was 3.85 g/L,the SDS mass concentration was 3.85 g/L,the reaction time was 30 min,and the addition of PSS and SDS would affect the aggregation behavior and morphology structure of calcium carbonate.
