Sim ultaneous Removal of Silicon and Organic Matter from Phosphogypsum by Co-Reverse Flotation
The large amount of by-product phosphogypsum was produced during the wet production of phosphoric acid brings serious environmental problems,so the removal of silicon and organic matter from phosphogypsum is a prerequisite for its resource utilization.Flotation is the most common impurity removal process, but the positive flotation process is complicated and costly. In view of the above problems, this paper investigates a quaternary ammonium flotation agent LSG-3 on phosphogypsum common reverse flotation with high efficiency of removal of silicon and organic matter,The mechanism of desilication and organic matter removal was also investigated using XRD,XPS and FTIR characterization. The results show that under the conditions of natural pH vallue of 2.5,alcohol foamer dosage of 225 g/t and LSG-3 dosage of 300 g/t,pulp concentration of 30%,aeration of 0.2 m3/h,scraping time of 10 min, after co-reverse flotation, the SiO2 content of raw ore reduces from 6.490%to 1.963%,whiteness increases from 33.88%to 64.65%,and the organic matter content decreases from 0.720%to 0.047%,the test results lay the foundation for the resource utilization of phosphogypsum.
