The modern Fujian overseas student community,as a critical role in China's modernization process,holds significant research value regarding its cultural reproduction mechanisms.Through an in-depth analysis of this group,the close connection is revealed between Fujian overseas students'accumulation and transmission of cultural capital and national demands.Additionally,individual agency were demonstrated by these students in cultural reproduction activities within both informal learning environment and formal schooling.It highlights the foundational role played by families and clans networks in intergenerational transmission of cultural capital.Furthermore,era factors and collectivism culture as patriotism,reinforce the external educational fields'advocacy for habitus of"valuing culture and emphasizing education"and the"practical application of knowledge".Simultaneously,the fusion of Eastern and Western influences within formal schooling educational fields enhances the cross-cultural capital conversion efficiency of modern Fujian overseas student community,thereby achieving a localized interpretation of cultural reproduction theory in China.
