Based on panel data from 2013 to 2022 in Fujian Province,a coupled coordination degree model is used to evaluate the level of integrated and coordinated development of the catering and tourism industries in Fujian Province.The overall development level of the catering and tourism industry in Fujian Province is showing a growing trend;The coupling of the catering and tourism industry has shifted from a lagging catering industry to a lagging tourism industry;The overall level of coupling between the integration and development of the catering and tourism industry is relatively high;The integration and coordination of the catering industry is on the rise,and the overall level of coordination is not high.There is still significant room for improvement in the integrated development of the catering and tourism industry in Fujian Province.Strengthening top-level design can open up channels for integrated development.It's also suggested to cultivate new business models and create a"food plus tourism"brand.Measures such as strengthening regional cooperation,promoting the integration and development of multiple industries,exploring a path of integrated development of catering and tourism with Fujian characteristics,and promoting the deep integration and development of catering and tourism industries in Fujian Province should be carried out.
