A total of 2026 college students were investigated with the psychological pain scale,the public stigma of seeking help,the self-stigma of seeking help scale and the mental health-seeking attitude scale to explore the effect and mechanism of psychological pain on mental health-seeking attitude.The results showed that psychological pain was negatively correlated with mental health-seeking attitude,and positively correlated with public stigma and self-stigma.There is positive correlation between public stigma and self-stigma,and negative correlation between them and mental health-seeking attitude.Psychological pain negatively predicts mental health-seeking attitude,self-stigma of seeking help plays a mediating role in the relationship between psychological pain and mental health-seeking attitude,public stigma and self-stigma play a chain mediating role in the relationship between psychological pain and mental health-seeking attitude.Whether art majors play a moderating role in the relationship between psychological pain and mental health-seeking attitude.It is necessary to effectively reduce the level of psychological pain and stigma of psychological help of college students to improve their mental health-seeking attitude,and at the same time,focus on cultivating the correct understanding and attitude of psychological pain of art college students,so as to improve the psychological help rate and mental health level of college students.
