The"Fu"culture is a treasure of Chinese traditional culture.Integrating"Fu"culture into ideological and political education(IPE)in Fujian's higher education institutions helps cultivate modern talents with noble character,patriotic feelings,innovative spirit,and global perspectives.By exploring the profound heritage of"Fu"culture and analyzing its intrinsic connection with university education,research reveals that incorporating"Fu"culture into IPE not only enhances students'confidence in and recognition of outstanding traditional culture,improving their overall qualities and sense of social responsibility,but also promotes Fujian universities'effective delivery of the"Big Ideological and Political Education"in the new era,fully implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education.Looking ahead,Fujian universities can focus on four aspects:emphasizing classroom education,strengthening the unity of knowledge and action,maintaining innovative IPE approaches,and prioritizing cultural immersion.This will achieve the organic integration of IPE and"Fu"culture,providing talent support for the comprehensive establishment of a modern socialist nation.
