Brucellosis and toxoplasmosis are serious zoonotic infectious diseases.To understand the infection status of brucellosis and toxoplasmosis in livestock such as pigs,cows,and sheep in Anxi county,a total of 2 080 serum samples(1 340 from pigs,560 from sheep,and 180 from cattle)were collected from large-scale farms and free range households for serological testing of the two diseases.The results showed that there were 4 positive samples for brucellosis,with a total positive rate of 0.2%,mainly present in sheep sam-ples,and the sheep infection rate was 0.7%.69 samples were positive for toxoplasmosis,with a total positive rate of 3.3%,including 50 samples from pigs,with a positive rate of 3.7%;There were 18 positive samples from sheep,with a positive rate of 3.2%;There is one positive sample of cattle,with a positive rate of 0.6%.The survey results can provide a basis for the prevention and control of zoonotic infectious diseases in Anxi county.
