Monitoring of the fluctuation of maternal antibody against swine fever and optimization of immunization programs in a large-scale pig farm
In order to improve the immune effect of swine fever vaccine and enhance the ability of pigs to resist swine fever virus in-fection,the maternal antibodies of piglets in a large-scale pig farm were monitored by ELISA.According to the law of the fluctuation of maternal antibodies, the immunization program of swine fever vaccine was adjusted from one immunization at 21 days old and two immunization at 60 days old to one immunization at 28 days old and two immunization at 70 days old.The data of swine fever anti-body monitoring of two batches of commercial pigs before and after adjustment showed that the qualified rate of swine fever antibody increased and the dispersion decreased after the adjustment of immunization program, and the immune effect of vaccine improved sig-nificantly.
