Introduction to Landscape Machizukuri in Japan and Its Enlightment
Landscape machizukuri started in 1960s and then has been gradualy developed and perfected. Landscape Act and other relevant laws are taken as the legislation frame on existing landscape machizukuri. The landscape administrations should work according to these laws. The content of landscape machizukuri is consisted of three parts: landscape planning, landscape standards or design guidelines, and landscape regulations. With the analysis, the paper takes the landscape planning work of Sasayama city as an example, and shows the enlightenment of landscape machizukuri to the landscape planning and construction work in China.
