Emma is a novel by Jane Austen,first published anonymously in December,1815.Emma Woodhouse,handsome,clever,and rich,with a comfortable home and happy disposition;and had lived nearly twenty-one years in the world with very little to distress or vex her.Such a perfect young lady who seems like that devotes herself to making matches for the people around her,for she appeals to the equal rights between men and women,and advocates love marriage;This thesis,by making an analysis of the heroine,Emma,is aimed at finding Austen's feminist concerns reflected in the novel.
