Legal engineering is the activity and its result of designing and constructing the special cultural and social engineering in idea and practice,it is based on the corresponding legal theories and legal knowledges,widely absorbs related knowledges,theories and methods of other disciplines,its central task is to resolve the specific social problems standardly and institutionally under regulating of rules of engineering thinking and using social and legal technologies.The mode of thinking of legal engineering is the stylized thinking mode,customary thinking path and the primary approach of thinking a-bout legal problems in which it regards legal engineering as its core idea subconsciously and instinctively.It is of great real-istic significance to advocate,promote and strengthen legal engineering research in the new era which has been vigorously promoting the construction of the rule of law in China today.
