Application Effect of Urea Containing Chelated Trace Elements on Maize
In order to investigate the promotion effect of urea containing chelated trace elements as topdressing on maize plant growth and fruit ripening based on conventional bottom fertilizer application,a field plot experiment is conducted.Four treatments are set up in the experiment, with common urea as the blank control, and the indicators of maize at different growth stages are measured. The results show that the application of new urea such as chelated potassium zinc urea, chelated zinc boron urea, and chelated potassium plus zinc urea in maize resulted in significantly better biological and economic traits such as plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, ear length, ear diameter, number of grains per ear,and hundred grain weight compared to the application of common urea. The application of three types of urea containing chelated trace elements increased the yield of maize by 6.52%to 9.31%compared to the application of common urea, and increased the income range is 50.35 to 74.06 yuan/mu(1 mu=667 m2).
