Effects of Macro-Element Water-Soluble Fertilizer Containing Magnesium on Growth of Eggplant
In order to investigate the effects of macro-element water-soluble fertilizer containing magnesium on growth of eggplant,a field plot experiment is carried out using commercially available water-soluble fertilizer(11-8-32)as a control, and the growth indicator, yield indicator and quality indicator of eggplant are measured. The results show that the eggplant treated with macro-element water-soluble fertilizer containing magnesium has better plant height, stem diameter, relative chlorophyll content(SPAD value),fruit longitudinal diameter, single fruit weight, number of bearing fruits per plant, yield and other indicators than that of the control treatment. When the nitrate content in the fruit is lower than that of the control treatment, the difference in soluble sugar content is not significant. The application of macro-element water-soluble fertilizer containing magnesium can promote the growth of eggplant and improve the quality of fruit.
