Study on the Effect of Novel Biostimulant APAA on Salt Tolerance of Wheat
In order to verify the effect of the novel biostimulant APAA on improving salt tolerance of crop,an experiment is carried out on the effect of different APAA application rates on wheat seed germination under salt stress condition,as well as the effect of exogenous application of APAA on salt tolerance in wheat seedling stage. The results show that when the mass concentration of APAA is 50 mg/L,it can significantly increase the germination vigor, germination rate, bud length and root length of wheat seeds under salt stress condition. When the mass concentration of exogenous application APAA is 50 mg/L,it can significantly increase the content of catalase, peroxidase, proline, and soluble protein in wheat seedlings, significantly reduce the content of malondialdehyde and hydrogen peroxide, and enhance the salt tolerance of wheat. The plant height, root length, aboveground dry weight and underground dry weight of wheat seedlings under salt stress increase by 8.2%,12.5%,5.7%,and 16.9%,respectively,compared to the control treatment.
