The Effect of Compound Fertilizer Containing Polyaspartic Acid on the Growth and Development of Spinach
Taking spinach as the experimental object, the effects of compound fertilizer containing polyaspartic acid on spinach plant height, leaf unfolding rate, leaf number, average leaf diameter, leaf area, leaf volume, root surface area, root length, root system average diameter, relative chlorophyll content(SPAD value)in leaves, and nitrogen content are investigated without fertilization and with ordinary compound fertilizer as the control. The results show that compared with the application of ordinary compound fertilizer, the application of compound fertilizer containing polyaspartic acid significantly increased the individual plant weight of spinach by 60%,and the root length, average root diameter, and average leaf diameter of spinach increased by 31.82%,333.77%,and 61.38%,respectively.The surface area of spinach roots treated with compound fertilizer containing polyaspartic acid reaches 340.39 cm2.Based on comprehensive analysis of various indicators, the compound fertilizer containing polyaspartic acid has a significant promoting effect on the growth and development of spinach, which can increase spinach yield.
