The Effect of Different Fertilization Treatments on Hot Pepper Yield and Economic Benefits
In order to investigate the effects of different fertilization treatments on the cost, yield, and economic benefits of hot pepper cultivation,a field plot experiment is conducted with no fertilization as the control(CK)treatment. The results show that fertilization treatment has significant differences in hot pepper yield, single fruit weight, number of fruits per plant, longitudinal and transverse diameters at the 0.1%level.The yield of hot peppers treated with different fertilizers is higher than that treated with CK,and the difference is significant at the 5%level.The yield of hot pepper is mainly affected by the weight of single fruit and the number of fruits per plant and the weight of single hot pepper is mainly affected by the longitudinal and transverse diameters of the fruit.Appropriate fertilization treatment can significantly increase hot pepper yield and increase economic benefits.
