Due to the prominent phenomenon of unreasonable fertilization in hot pepper production in Hainan Province,which leads to low fertilizer utilization efficiency and unsatisfactory economic benefits,a field plot experiment is conducted on the effects of different formulations of Fudao value-added compound fertilizers on hot pepper agronomic traits,yield,nitrogen utilization efficiency,and economic benefits.The results show that the agronomic traits,yield,nitrogen utilization efficiency,and economic benefits of hot pepper treated with different Fudao value-added compound fertilizers are superior to those treated with conventional fertilization.The treatment effect of applying 30 kg/mu(1 mu=667 m2)of basal applied Fudao value-added compound fertilizer(17-17-17)and 15 kg/mu of magnesium sulfate,and dressing 130 kg/mu of Fudao value-added compound fertilizer(14-6-24)is ideal as well as reach the requirements of improving quality and increasing yield.
