As a key anchoring component in downhole operation,the performance of packer slip directly affects the safety and efficiency of downhole operation.This paper systematically analyzes the influence of slip geometric parameters on contact area,contact stress and shear stress,and proposes a strategy to improve the anchoring performance of slips by optimizing geometric parameters(including number of teeth,apex angle,inclination angle,central angle and bite depth).The finite element simulation and the-oretical modeling were used in the study.It was found that increasing the number of teeth and bite depth can significantly increase the contact area and reduce the contact stress.Proper control of the tooth apex angle and the tooth inclination angle can help to reduce the local stress concentration and prolong the service life of the slip.The research results of this paper not only provide theoretical basis and data sup-port for the optimal design of packer slips,but also have important guiding significance for anchoring technology innovation in complex downhole environment.
