The valve plays a controlling role in the medium of the fluid pipeline system.Compared with other transmission valves,the amount of manual valves is more.For example,the angle stroke valves in the pipeline system are mostly driven by manual devices.However,the manual device of angle stroke valve often encounters some problems in the process of installation and use,which affects the project duration and the normal operation of the device.This paper first lists and analyzes the problems encoun-tered by manual butterfly valves in the process of project construction.Secondly,it compares and analy-zes the requirements of design standards for manual devices and introduces the precautions for the selec-tion of manual devices.Then it puts forward suggestions on the installation direction of manual devices,in order to reduce the occurrence of such problems and reduce the cost of valve maintenance.At the same time,this paper can provide effective reference for valve designers,process pipeline designers,construction and installation personnel.
