The intellectual tradition of feminist socialism in China began with Qiu Jin in the late Qing dynasty and had deep ties to the anarchist movement at the beginning of the Republic of China.Ding Ling grew up in the heartland of women's revolution, influenced by her mother and her social circle. From a young age,she was deeply immersed in this revolutionary tradition.Later, while in Shanghai and Beijing, she continued to be exposed to anarchist and early socialist feminist ideologies, which shaped her feminist socialist thought,form-ing the foundation of her subsequent intellectual development.Even after"leaning to the left",Ding Ling did not entirely abandon her early revolutionary ideas but continued to strive for the original goals and ideals of women's revolution, leading her to run into conflicts with the revolutionary model in Yan'an.After the 1940s,Ding Ling's stance shifted, moving from emphasizing women's"freedom"to val-uing women's"self-determination",striving to align her feminist socialist ideals with the revolutionary system. The development and ad-justment of Ding Ling's feminist socialist ideas are clearly reflected in her literary works across different stages.
