Objective:To summarize the experience and clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery in treatment of benign ovarian cysts. Methods:The clinical data of 197 patients of benign ovarian cysts from Jan. 2010 to Jan. 2011 were analyzed retrospectively,of whom 101 cases underwent laparoscopic surgery and 96 cases underwent laparotomy. A comparative analysis was made on the operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative flatus time, postoperative hospital stay and complications between the two groups. Results: In the laparoscopy group,operative time was (76 ± 19) min,intraoperative blood loss was (30. 5 ±11.6) ml,postoperative flatus time was (18. 1 ± 10- 7 ) h,postoperative hospital stay was (3. 8 ± 1. 7 ) d, which had significant differences in comparison with the open surgery group. Conclusions:Laparoscopic surgery for benign ovarian cysts has less trauma,and less bleeding,and less influence on other organs. Patients has less pain,fewer adverse reactions,anil more rapid recovery. It is easily popularized.
