Application of"plane first"approach in laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy
Objective:To investigate the feasibility and safety of the"plane first"approach in laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy. Methods:Clinical data of 81 patients with local lesions in the body and tail of the pancreas who underwent laparoscopic spleen-preser-ving distal pancreatectomy and distal pancreatectomy combined with splenectomy from Mar.2021 to Mar.2022 were retrospectively ana-lyzed.The operation time, intraoperative blood loss and postoperative complications of the"plane first"method were observed and com-pared with traditional surgical approach. Results:All 81 patients successfully underwent distal pancreatectomy without conversion to open surgery. The operative time and intraoperative blood loss of the laparoscopic spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy and distal pancreatectomy combined with splenectomy in the"plane first"approach were shorter/fewer than the conventional approach, the diffe-rences were significant. Conclusions:The"Plane first"approach has better operability in laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy, which can effectively decrease the operative time and intraoperative blood loss, and is safe and feasible.
