Objective:To analyze the application effect of U-shaped titanium nickel alloy wire assisted transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Methods:From Jun.2023 to Sep.2023,patients with gallstones who underwent transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy assisted by U-shaped titanium nickel alloy wire were included in this study.The operation time(from anesthesia start to suture end),assembly time of U-shaped titanium nickel alloy wire,intraoperative complications,increase in Trocar number,postoperative hospital stay,postoperative complications,hospitalization expenses,and other indicators were recorded.Results:A total of 236 patients underwent U-shaped titanium nickel alloy wire assisted transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy.The assembly time of the U-shaped wire was 1.5(1.2,2.0)min,the operation time was 50.0(42.0,60.0)min,intraoperative blood loss was 5.0(5.0,5.0)mL.There was no conversion to open surgery,and only 2 cases had additional trocar added during the operation.The postoperative hospital stay was 20(17,24)h,173 patients(73.3％)were discharged within 24 h after surgery.The postoperative com-plication incidence was 22.0％,postoperative pain accounted for 15.7％and nausea and vomiting accounted for 3.8％.The longest fol-low up was 12 months,no incisional hernia or late-onset biliary stenosis occurred,the incisional scars were hidden.Conclusions:U-shaped titanium nickel alloy wire assisted transumbilical single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy can fully expose the gallbladder tri-angle,reduce chopstick effect,minimize abdominal wall damage,and is initially safe and effective.
