The clinical effect analysis of laparoscopic radical distal gastrectomy with pre-amputation of stomach body
Objective:To compare the short-term clinical application effect between laparoscopic radical distal gastrectomy with pre-amputation of the stomach body and traditional laparoscopic radical distal gastrectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 66 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical distal gastrectomy from Sep.2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into the pre-amputation group(laparoscopic distal gastrectomy with pre-amputation of stomach body,n=33)and the traditional group(traditional laparoscopic radical gastrectomy,n=33).The operative time, amount of bleeding during the operation, number of retrieved lymph nodes, postoperative exhaust time, time of first intake of liquid diet, drainage tube removal time, postoperative hospital stay,surgi-cal complication, and postoperative survival time were compared between the two groups. Results:The operative time[(199.27±16.43)min vs.(208.33±19.83)min,P=0.047],the amount of bleeding during the operation[(82.73±9.93)mL vs.(95.91±34.79)mL,P=0.040]and the postoperative hospital stay[(7.03±0.68)d vs.(7.63±1.34)d,P=0.024]in the pre-amputation group were shorter or less that those in the traditional group. There were no significant differences in the number of retrieved lymph nodes, postoperative exhaust time, first taking fluid food time, drainage tube removal time, surgical complications, and postoperative sur-vival time between the two groups. Conclusions:Compared with traditional laparoscopic distal gastrectomy,"pre-amputation of stomach body"laparoscopic radical resection for distal gastric cancer has better visual field, shorter operation time, less intraoperative blood loss, and faster recovery, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
