Clinical Study on the Treatment of Lumbar and Dorsal Myofasciitis with Silver Needle Combined with Temperature Controlled Silver Needle Therapy Device
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of silver needle combined with temperature controlled silver needle therapy device on patients with lumbar and dorsal myofasciitis. Methods:Sixty patients with lower back myofasciitis were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 30 cases in each. The control group received routine acupuncture treatment, while the treatment group received silver needle combined with a temperature controlled silver needle therapy. Both groups were treated for 3 weeks. The clinical efficacy of two groups,as well as the visual analogue scale(VAS)before treatment and at 1,2,and 3 weeks after treatment were observed. Results:In the treatment group,18 cases showed significant improvement,10 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 93.33%.In the control group,10 cases showed significant improvement,12 cases were effective, and 8 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 73.33%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the 1st,2nd,and 3rd week after treatment,VAS in both groups improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Silver needle combined with temperature controlled silver needle therapy can effectively alleviate pain symptoms and improve therapeutic effect in patients with lumbar and dorsal myofasciitis.
