Clinical Effect of TCM Acupuncture Point Embedding Combined with Moxibustion Treatment in Patients with Primary Dysmenorrhea
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of acupuncture point embedding combined with moxibustion therapy on patients with primary dysmenorrhea. Methods 60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects and they were randomly divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group used conventional therapy combined with moxibustion treatment, and the study group used TCM acupoints embedding on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated continuously for 3 menstrual cycles. The total efficacy, uterine hemodynamics, and pain degree were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.67%,which was higher than the control group's 73.33%,and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment, the resistance index, pulsatility index, and peak systolic/diastolic values in the study group were all lower than those in the control group, and the average blood flow velocity was faster than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences between the groups(P﹤0.05).After treatment for 1 month,2 months, and 3 months, the pain Visual Analogue Scale score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Chinese acupuncture point embedding combined with moxibustion treatment can promote the rehabilitation of patients with primary dysmenorrhea, with significant effect, improve uterine hemodynamics and relieve dysmenorrhea.
