Clinical Effect of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Combined with Extracorporeal Shock Wave in the Treatment of Gluteal Myofasciitis
Objective To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with extracorporeal shock wave on gluteal myofascitis. Methods 200 patients with gluteal myofascitis admitted to the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Luohu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shenzhen City from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group was treated with extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and the observation group was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion on this basis. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The pain degree, clinical efficacy and inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than 91.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment, the pain Visual Analogue Score of the observation group was(2.22±0.31)points,which was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6 and interleukin-1β in the observation group were(336.24±13.66)ng/L,(19.92±1.73)pg/mL and(722.10±15.77)pg/mL,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy for gluteal myofascitis can effectively reduce the pain and inflammatory reaction of patients, and accelerate the improvement of the condition, the curative effect is remarkable.
