Effect of Mirror Therapy Combined with Nustep-T4 Exercise Training on Lower Limb Motor Function and Balance Function in Patients with Cerebral Infarction Hemiplegia
Objective To explore the effect of mirror therapy combined with extremity linkage therapy(Nustep-T4)exercise training on lower limb motor function and balance function in patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia.Methods 78 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia admitted to our hospital from November 2019 to November 2022 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.Control group was treated with image therapy,observation group was treated with image therapy combined with Nustep-T4 exercise training.Lower limb muscle tone rating,lower limb Motor Function Rating Scale(FMA-LE)score,Berg Balance Scale(BBS)score,10 m maximum walking speed(10 mMWS),Holden Functional Walking rating(FAC)score,knee flexion and knee extension peak moment before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,FMA-LE score(23.13±3.93)points,BBS score(56.59±8.34)points and FAC score(2.33±0.47)points in the observation group were higher than(19.87±3.62)points,(45.79±8.04)points and(1.92±0.35)points in the control group,10 mMWS(57.41±9.37)m/min was faster than(48.93±8.35)m/min of the control group,the peak moment of knee flexion muscle(31.02±4.02)N·m and the peak moment of knee extensor muscle(38.72±4.23)N·m were higher than(24.38±3.55)N·m and(31.96±4.18)N·m of control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Mirror therapy combined with Nustep-T4 exercise training has a significant effect on patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia,which can not only improve their lower limb motor function and balance function,but also promote the recovery of gait function.
