Current Situation of Exercise Fear and Related Risk Factors in Patients with Meniscus Injury
Objective To explore the current situation of exercise fear in patients with meniscus injury and analyze its related risk factors. Methods 108 patients with meniscus injury admitted to Fujian Provincial Hospital were selected as the research subjects, assessing the level of motor phobia using the Tampa Motor Fear Scale, evaluating pain intensity using visual simulation scoring method, evaluating the degree of meniscus injury in patients using magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).A study on the risk factors of exercise fear in patients with meniscus injury through univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results 65 cases of patients with meniscus injury showed fear of exercise. The results showed that high pain degree and III degree of injury were the risk factors causing fear of exercise in patients with meniscus injury(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Exercise phobia in patients with meniscus injury is worth paying attention to.Affected by pain intensity, injury degree and other factors, patients with meniscus injury are prone to exercise fear.In clinical treatment, patients with exercise fear and its risk factors should be closely monitored and included in the rehabilitation plan for patients with meniscus injury to improve their exercise compliance,to maximize the recovery of patients.
