Comparison of the Effects of Rigid Ureteroscopy and Flexible Ureteroscopy Holmium Laser lithotripsy in Patients with Upper Ureteral Calculi
Objective Exploring the application effect of holmium laser lithotripsy with rigid ureteroscopy(R-URS)and flexible ureteroscopy(F-URS)in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi.Methods Selecting 68 patients with upper ureteral stones admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 as the research subjects,divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 34 cases in each group.The control group was treated with R-URS,and the observation group was treated with F-URS.The operation status,stress response,quality of life,stone clearance rate and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was(6.28±1.13)mL,which was less than(8.34±1.17)mL in the control group,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).The length of operation,getting out of bed and staying in hospital were compared between the two groups,there was no statistically significant difference between groups(P﹥0.05).The postoperative levels of NE,ACTH,and Cor in the observation group were(238.63±21.35)ng/mL,(38.25±3.41)ng/L,and(118.65±10.34)nmol/L,respectively,lower than(276.78±24.53)ng/mL,(45.63±4.15)ng/L,and(131.41±12.57)nmol/L in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).The postoperative quality of life scores in all areas of the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the incidence of complications was less than that in the control group.The scores of postoperative quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the incidence of complications were less than those in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Comparison of stone clearance rates between two groups,there was no statistically significant difference between groups(P﹥0.05).Conclusion F-URS holmium laser lithotripsy has a higher value in upper ureteral calculi,which can reduce the stress response and complications while removing calculi,and is worthy of wide application.
