The Impact of High-Quality Nursing Based on the Theory of Knowledge,Belief and Action on the Stress Response and Postoperative Recovery of Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Repair of Gastrointestinal Perforation
Objective To explore the application effect of high-quality nursing based on the theory of knowledge, belief, and action in patients undergoing laparoscopic repair of gastrointestinal perforation. Methods Clinical data of 92 patients with upper digestive tract perforation admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 46 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received high-quality nursing based on the theory of knowledge and practice. Both groups were followed up until 3 months after surgery. The negative emotions, physiological stress reaction, postoperative recovery and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).24 h after operation, corticotropin and cortisol in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).The Visual Analogue Score of pain 72 h of the observation group after surgery was lower than that of the control group, and the postoperative eating, getting out of bed and length of hospital stay were shorter than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P﹤0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.17%,lower than 17.39% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion High quality nursing based on the theory of knowledge, belief, and action can reduce the physiological and psychological stress reactions of patients undergoing laparoscopic repair of gastrointestinal perforation, alleviate postoperative pain, reduce the occurrence of complications, and promote postoperative recovery.
