Therapeutic Effect of Shegan Mahuang Decoction Combined with Seretide on Children with Bronchial Asthma and Changes of Serum IL-17 and IL-35 levels
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of using Shegan Mahuang decoction with dialectical addition and subtraction and seretide in the treatment of childhood bronchial asthma(BA)cold asthma,as well as the changes in serum interleukin-17(IL-17)and interleukin-35(IL-35)levels.Methods 120 children with acute BA attack treated in Liaocheng Second People's Hospital from November 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a study group and a control group according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Shegan Mahuang decoction and the study group was treated with Shegan Mahuang decoction and seretide.The clinical efficacy,pulmonary function indexes and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.00%,which was higher than 81.67%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in forced expiratory volume(FEV1),vital capacity(FVC)and peak expiratory flow rate(PEFR)between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment,FEV1,FVC and PEFR in the study group were greater than those in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in serum IL-17 and IL-35 between the two groups(P＞0.05);after treatment,the level of IL-17 in the study group was(162.03±22.68)pg/mL,lower than(182.67±29.76)pg/mL in the control group,and the level of IL-35 was(25.03±4.15)pg/mL,higher than(22.67±4.21)pg/mL in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of dialectical modification of Shegan Mahuang decoction and Seretide can improve clinical efficacy,improve lung function indicators,reduce IL-17 levels,and increase IL-35 levels in the treatment of pediatric BA.
