The Effect of Huoxue Zhitong Decoction Combined with Ear Point Embedding Bean Therapy on the Degree of Pain and Swelling in Patients with Tibiofibular Fractures after Internal Fixation Surgery
Objective To explore the effect of Huoxue Zhitong decoction combined with ear point buried beans in the treatment of patients with tibiofibular fracture.Methods 88 patients with tibiofibular fractures admitted to our hospital from December 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 44 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine treatment,and the observation group was treated with Huoxue Zhitong decoction combined with ear point buried beans on the basis of the control group.The degree of pain and swelling,fracture rehabilitation and knee joint function were compared between the two groups.Results One week after operation,the pain Visual Analogue Scale score and limb swelling value of the observation group were(1.35±0.26)points and(0.55±0.12)cm,which were lower than(1.35±0.26)points and(0.80±0.15)cm of the control group,the postoperative limb swelling time was(7.63±1.28)d,pain relief time was(5.69±0.78)d,fracture healing time was(82.59±6.17)d,which were shorter than(8.99±1.30)d,(7.02±1.10)d,(90.33±5.48)d of the control group,the pain score,function score,range of motion score,muscle strength score,flexion deformity score,and stability score of Hospital for Special Surgery Scale were(24.26±2.15)points,(19.49±1.65)points,(16.92±1.80)points,(8.44±0.97)points,(7.13±0.55)points,and(8.07±0.61)points,respectively,which were higher than(21.33±2.64)points,(18.05±1.23)points,(15.55±0.49)points,(7.12±0.44)points,(7.84±0.40)points,(7.18±0.56)points in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Huoxue Zhitong decoction combined with ear point buried beans can reduce the degree of pain and swelling in patients with tibiofibular fracture after internal fixation,promote fracture healing and accelerate the recovery of knee joint function.
