The Effect of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Combined with Core Stability Training on Balance Ability and Lower Limb Motor Function in Post-Stroke Hemiplegic Patients
Objective To explore the application value of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with core stability training in post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods 78 patients with hemiplegia after stroke admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The control group was treated with core stability training,and the observation group was treated with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture on the basis of the control group for 3 months.Balance ability,lower limb motor function,walking ability,daily living ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After 3 months of treatment,the Berg Balance Scale score and lower limb Fugl-Meyer motor function score in the observation group were(42.47±4.35)points and(22.62±2.67)points,respectively,which were higher than(37.51±4.22)points and(19.75±2.49)points in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the functional walking rating scale score and Barthel Index score in the observation group were(3.81±0.36)points and(78.69±5.63)points,respectively,which were higher than(3.04±0.33)points and(70.15±5.42)points in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the scores of the world Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF in the observation group were(85.41±5.35)points,(86.68±5.32)points,(87.75±5.32)points,(88.63±4.25)points,which were higher than(78.28±5.22)points,(79.33±5.24)points,(80.48±5.27)points,(82.05±4.72)points of the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture and core stability training can improve the balance ability of post-stroke hemiplegic patients,accelerate the recovery of lower limb motor function,and improve their quality of life.
