The Effect of Ultrasound Nebulization Assisted Western Medicine Treatment with Shufeng Mingmu Formula on Tear Film Function and Clinical Symptoms in Patients with Allergic Conjunctivitis
Objective To analyze the effect of ultrasonic nebulization assisted Western medicine treatment on patients with allergic conjunctivitis(AC)using Shufeng Mingmu formula.Methods Selecting 70 AC patients admitted to the hospital from May 2019 to May 2023 as the research subjects,divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.The control group received routine Western medicine treatment,on the basis of the control group,the observation group was treated with the addition of Shufeng Mingmu formula ultrasonic nebulization,both groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks.Compare the clinical efficacy,symptom improvement,tear film function,tear related indicators,and adverse reactions between two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.29%,which was higher than the control group's 74.29%,the observation group's tear score was(0.63±0.12)points,itching score was(0.71±0.15)points,photophobia score was(0.58±0.06)points,foreign body sensation score was(0.79±0.11)points,corneal fluorescein sodium staining score were(3.01±0.46)points,and hyaluronic acid score was(35.71±5.49)μg/L,eosinophil cationic protein was(2.59±0.68)μg/L,lower than the control group's(1.35±0.27)points,(1.24±0.23)points,(1.27±0.12)points,(1.24±0.19)points,(5.35±0.97)points,(62.48±8.30)μg/L,(5.64±1.36)μg/L,respectively,tear film rupture time was(11.59±2.36)s,which was longer than(6.70±1.25)s of the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05);there were no adverse reactions during the treatment of both groups.Conclusion Ultrasound atomization assisted Western medicine treatment with Shufeng Mingmu formula can alleviate symptoms in patients with AC,improve tear film function,and improve tear related indicators in patients with AC.
