Effect of Bladder Training Combined with Biofeedback Electrical Stimulation on Patients after Radical Prostatectomy
Objective To analyze the application value of bladder training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation in patients after radical prostatectomy. Methods 68 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy in our hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into a control group receiving bladder training(n=34)and an observation group receiving bladder training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation(n=34)according to the random number table method.Compare the urination status, urodynamic indicators, negative emotions, and quality of life between two groups of patients before and after intervention. Results After 1 month of intervention, the observation group of the Valsalva leakage point pressure, maximum urethral closure pressure and average urinary flow rate were(10.21±1.32)kPa,(69.48±7.60)cmH2O(1 cmH2O=0.098 kPa),(18.04±2.56)mL/s,which were exceed those of the control group(8.41±1.36)kPa,(63.26±6.79)cmH2O,(14.05±4.82)mL/s,the maximum cystometric capacity was(445.52±35.59)ml,which was greater than(412.52±37.40)mL of the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention,in the observation group, the scores of anxiety and depression self-rating scale were(39.98±3.22)points and(38.66±2.24)points,which were lower than those in the control group(43.06±3.18)points and(42.60±2.83)points,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 month of intervention,in the observation group, the scores of the five dimensions of the quality of life scale for prostate cancer were exceed in the control group, the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Bladder training combined with biofeedback electrical stimulation can effectively improve the urodynamics of patients after radical prostatectomy, which is conducive to the relief of negative emotions and the improvement of quality of life.
