Efficacy of Core Stability Training with Suspension Exercise for Cervical Spondylosis and Its Impact on Cervical Pain Degree and Functional Recovery
Objective To study the efficacy of core stability training with suspension exercise for cervical spondylosis(NTCS)and its effect on cervical pain degree and functional recovery. Methods Selecting 80 NTCS patients admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to September 2023 as the research subjects, divided evenly into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received suspension exercise treatment, while the observation group received combined core stability training treatment on the basis of the control group, both groups were treated continuously for 12 weeks.Clinical efficacy, cervical pain level, range of motion and cervical spine function were compared in 2 groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, compare the degree of cervical pain, range of motion, and cervical spine function between the two groups, there was no statistically significant difference between groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the pain Visual Analogue Scale score of the observation group was(3.14±1.38)points,which was lower than(5.05±1.74)points of the control group, cervical spine motion was higher than that of control group, cervical spine dysfunction index score was lower than that of control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Significant therapeutic effects of core stability training combined with suspension exercise therapy for NTCS patients, beneficial for regulating the patient's cervical spine range of motion, reducing pain, and promoting the recovery of cervical spine function.
