Comparison of Clinical Efficacy and Safety Between High-Speed Turbine Minimally Invasive Tooth Extraction Method and Traditional Chiseling and Crown Chopping Method in the Treatment of Complex Impacted Teeth
Objective To analyze and compare the effects of high-speed turbine minimally invasive tooth extraction method and traditional bone chiseling and crown splitting method on patients with complex impacted teeth. Methods 82 patients with complex impacted teeth admitted to Lanling County People's Hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects, divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group underwent traditional bone chiseling and crown chopping extraction, while the observation group underwent high-speed turbine minimally invasive tooth extraction.Compare the surgical situation, pain level, pain mediator level, complications, and satisfaction between the two groups. Results The surgical time in the observation group was(14.36±1.56)min,which was shorter than the control group's(20.59±2.47)min.The degree of mouth opening restriction was(4.21±0.72)mm,and the degree of swelling was(14.37±1.49)mm,which was smaller than the control group's(7.53±1.69)mm and(19.86±2.26)mm.The integrity score of the alveolar fossa was(1.59±0.37)points,and the incidence of complications was 4.88%,which was lower than the control group's(3.21±0.54)points,21.95%,satisfaction was 95.12%,and higher than the control group's 80.49%,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);before surgery,Visual Analogue pain Scores(VAS),5-hydroxytryp tamine(5-HT)and P substance(SP)of two groups were compared, there were no statistically significant difference between groups(P>0.05);after surgery, the VAS score of the observation group was(1.79±0.36)points,lower than the control group's(3.24±0.57)points,and the 5-HT score was(2.54±0.58)μmol/L and SP were(270.54±20.43)pmol/L,lower than the control group's(3.79±0.87)μmol/L,(319.87±23.56)pmol/L,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The operation time of the high-speed turbine minimally invasive tooth extraction method is shorter than that of the traditional bone chiseling and crown chopping method, which can reduce the limitation and swelling of complex impacted teeth, alleviate pain, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve satisfaction.
