Observation on the Curative Effect of Combination of Butylphthalein Softgel Capsule and Citicoline on Vascular Dementia after Cerebral Infarction
Objective To explore the effect of combined treatment of buphthalein softgel and citicoline on patients with vascular dementia after cerebral infarction. Methods 80 patients with vascular dementia after cerebral infarction treated in Heze Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with citicoline, and the observation group was treated with butylphthalein softgel combined with citicoline for 2 months. The clinical efficacy, cognitive function and dementia degree, cerebral circulation dynamics index, serum homocysteine(Hcy)level, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 77.50%of the control group, the score of Mini Mental Status Examination and the MOS item Short From health survey were higher than those of the control group, the average blood flow was higher than that of the control group, and the average blood velocity was faster, the score of clinical Dementia Rating and serum Hcy level were lower than those of control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of butylphthalein soft capsule and citicoline has significant therapeutic effect on patients with vascular dementia after cerebral infarction. The cognitive function and dementia degree of patients can be improved, and the cerebral circulation dynamic index and serum Hcy level can be adjusted,so as to improve the quality of life and the drug is safe.
